Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Mereb Pay's website, API, or dashboard (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. Use of the Services

You may use the Services only in compliance with these terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for the security of your API keys and credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Payments, fees, and settlement

Transaction fees are as published on our Pricing page unless otherwise agreed in a signed order form. Settlement timelines vary by market and payment method and are disclosed in the Mereb Hub dashboard.

4. Prohibited activities

You may not use the Services to process transactions for prohibited or illegal goods and services, to circumvent our fraud and compliance controls, or in any way that violates applicable financial regulations.

5. Compliance and verification

Production access requires successful completion of our know-your-business (KYB) and know-your-customer (KYC) verification. We may suspend or terminate access if verification cannot be completed or maintained.

6. Limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mereb Pay is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Mereb Hub dashboard or by email to the address on file. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise specified in a signed agreement with Mereb Pay.
