Payments API
Accept cards, mobile money, and bank transfers through one endpoint.
The charges endpoint accepts a payment channel, amount in the smallest currency unit, and a customer reference. Mereb Pay routes the request to the right rail automatically.
Request parameters
- channel — cbe_birr, telebirr, card, bank_transfer, and more
- amount — integer, smallest currency unit (e.g. cents)
- currency — ISO 4217 code (ETB, KES, USD…)
- customer — your internal customer reference
